Reggio Calabria to Host Series Finale

The 2018 IFCA Grand Prix Italy is the third, and final , event of the series for the slalom discipline where competitors will also race for the Grand Prix Series title.

Reggio Calabria is a coastal city in southern Italy, separated from Sicily by the Strait of Messina. Stretto di Messina), a narrow strait between the eastern tip of Sicily (Punta del Faro) and the western tip of Calabria (Punta Pezzo) in the south of Italy. It connects the Tyrrhenian Sea to the north with the Ionian Sea to the south.



ASD WINDSURD DELLO STRETTO welcomes the IFCA Grand Prix Series to Reggio Calabria. The location is perfect ,- the club is in the best kilometre of Italy,to observe slalom racing ! The club is ready to welcome all competitors with a large area reserved for their equipment storage. We expect winds from the North side (starboard tack) everyday approximately 13 to 17 knots. For the evening the boulevard turns into a seaside spectacle, filled with live music and various opportunities for some traditional dining.
